This immersive two-day event brings history to life through costumes, film clips, expert commentary, and live performance, showcasing the artistry of Texas-born performers who helped shape flamenco’s image in early 20th-century cinema.
Join renowned Seville-based flamencologist Juan Vergillos as he guides us through pivotal moments when American pop culture and flamenco collided on the silver screen. His multimedia presentation, delivered in Spanish with English translation, highlights how these cinematic moments continue to influence flamenco 100 years later.
